The founder of this beautiful temple of education was a remarkable man. He was respected not only for his simplicity but also for his great intellect and unwavering commitment to humanity. As a government teacher, he dedicated his life to the service of society and later extended his contribution into the field of politics. He also introduced himself as an editor and worked tirelessly to uplift the community.

Modern Public School, Basna has been running under the banner of Chandagiram Educational Society since 2021, inspired by his vision. Under the guidance of his daughter, Smt. Bhagwati Patel, and his son-in-law, Mr. Kamaldhar Patel, the school has been progressing steadily. Over time, it has grown under the leadership of two young and dynamic directors, Mr. Vinay Patel and Mr. Manoj Patel, who are the grandsons of Late Chandagiram Nayak.

Although he is no longer with us in his physical form, his ideals, dedication, and dreams continue to inspire us every day. It was his vision to make this institution a centre of excellence and a temple of learning, where children from surrounding villages could access quality education without financial hardship.

His legacy lives on in every effort we make to fulfil his dream. His noble qualities of intellect and compassion remain a guiding force for all of us.
